ISO 9001: ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard for a quality management system (QMS).  All over the world, in more than 170 countries, over one million organizations use this standard to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements and to demonstrate continuous improvement. 

It does not matter what size your organization is or what industry you are in, your company can be certified. In order to get this, your company has to follow the requirements set forth in this quality management system. The performance of your organization will be audited by a Certification Body as per the ISO 9001 requirements. As your company passes this audit, an ISO 9001 Certificate is issued by the registrar. The certificate is valid for a three year period. After that, your organization must be re-certified in order to maintain the ISO 9001 certification status.

ISO 14001: ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized standard for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It guides you how to

manage multiple factors of your business procurement to reduce its impact on the environment. It is a voluntary standard that organizations can certify to.

What size your organization is or what industry you are in, if you wish to set up, develop, or maintain an environmental management system to conform to

its established environmental policy and requirements, you can go for it. The requirements of the standard can be incorporated into any environmental

management system, the extent to which is determined by several factors including the organization’s industry, environmental policy, products and service offerings, and location.

OHSAS 18001: OHSAS 18001 is an internationally recognized standard for occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS). It provides a guideline to identify, control and decrease the risk factors associated with health and safety in your organization. If the health and safety of your employees are the primary concerns of your organization, you must go for this. 

ISO 45001: ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance. ISO 45001:2018 is applicable to any  organization that wishes to establish, implement and maintain an OH&S management system to improve occupational health and safety, eliminate hazards and minimize OH&S risks (including system deficiencies), take advantage of OH&S opportunities, and address OH&S management system nonconformities associated with its activities. ISO 45001:2018 helps an organization to achieve the intended outcomes of its OH&S management  system.  Consistent with the organization’s OH&S policy, the intended outcomes of an OH&S management system include:

a) Continual improvement of OH&S performance;

b) Fulfillment of legal requirements and other requirements;

c) Achievement of OH&S objectives.

ISO 45001:2018 is applicable to any organization regardless of its size, type and activities. It is applicable to the OH&S risks under the organization’s control, taking into account factors such as the context in which the organization operates and the needs and expectations of its workers and other interested parties.

ISO 13485 (Medical Device): ISO 13485 is an internationally recognized standard for the organizations that provide medical devices and related service. Such organizations can be involved in one or more stages of the life-cycle, including design and development, production, storage and distribution, installation, or servicing of a medical device and design and development or provision of associated activities. It can also be used by suppliers or external parties that provide product, including quality management system-related services to such organizations. It does not matter what size your organization is, ISO 13485 is applicable to any organization that deals with medical devices.

ISO 22000: ISO 22000 is an internationally recognized standard for Food Safety Management System (FSMS). If your organization is involved in food manufacturing, processing, packaging, or, food chain, it can be also applicable to you. An ISO 22000 certificate helps you to control and reduce food safety risks and prevent contamination, ensure customer’s confidence on you which will ultimately increase the profit of your organization.

ISO 20000: The ISO 20000 is a Service Management System (SMS) standard. It specifies requirements for the service provider to plan, establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and improve an SMS. The requirements include the design, transition, delivery and improvement of services to fulfill service requirements.

ISO 21001: ISO 21001 is an international standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization which provides management tools for organizations that offer educational products and services. It intends to help educational providers meet student’s requirements and needs.

ISO 41001: Facility Management Systems (FMS) ISO 41001:2018 was released in 2018 and is the first international FMS to be published by ISO. It provides a framework in line with the Annex SL structure to help organizations cultivate, implement and maintain an effective global facilities management system.

ISO 22301: ISO 22301:2019, Security and resilience – Business continuity management systems – Requirements, is a management system standard published by International Organization for Standardization that specifies requirements to plan, establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and continually improve a documented management system to protect against, reduce the likelihood of occurrence, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptive incidents when they arise. It is intended to be applicable to all organizations or parts thereof, regardless of type, size and nature of the organization.

IATF/ISO TS 16949: The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) is a group of automotive manufacturers which aims at providing improved quality products to automotive customers worldwide. 

IRIS/ISO TS 22163: ISO/TS 22163 is the global standard for quality management systems in the rail industry. It is based on the ISO 9001 quality management standard, with the addition of rail-specific requirements. ISO/TS 22163 was created to ensure higher quality standards in terms of facilities, operating equipment and services. It aims to achieve global uniformity in language, assessment guidelines and audits in order to create a higher level of transparency throughout the railway supply chain.
